Outdoor Painting Classes

Experience the beauty, history, and vibrant atmosphere of Athens through the art of outdoor painting. This immersive workshop invites artists of all levels to paint outdoors in some of the city’s most inspiring central locations, from the National Gardens, the ancient landmarks and the famous Zappion Mansion.

Participants will learn techniques for capturing natural light, color, atmosphere, and architectural character directly from observation. The workshop focuses on developing observational skills, composition, and expressive brushwork while embracing the unique challenges and rewards of painting on location.

As you work amidst the timeless scenery of Athens, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the city’s rich cultural heritage. Whether you are a beginner looking to explore outdoor painting or an experienced artist seeking fresh inspiration, this three hour workshop offers a creative and enriching experience in one of the world’s most iconic cities.

We will be exploring the medium of acrylics and painting our scenes on paper or on light panel. That way, participants can take their creations home with them after the class.

By the end of the class students will:

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the workshop start time in the local timezone will receive a full refund. No refunds will be given after that time period. If the workshop is canceled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be contacted personally and offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
