I literally grew up looking at this wonderful building. It is located right across from my grandparents’ house on Asklipiou Street. Back then of course I couldn’t appreciate all the intricate stone masonry, the perfectly designed façade and its small but majestic entrance. Now, it is run down with few of its apartments occupied. A few years back I had to visit a chiropractor’s office in that very building. What a treat it was to wander its marble halls and to ride the old iron clad elevator.
